I just installed this mod earlier this week. Haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet; did it more as a precursor to getting a boat, plus my work has some steep-ass parking situations. There is also a handy card that you can get for the steps to engage/disengage the 2Lo. Let me find the link...

Edit: the gentleman that mails out the visor insert cards is listed in the first post of the thread, https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-for-the-3rd-gen-tacoma.614743/#post-20866428

I was kind of being a smart ass, but glad it worked out.

I thought I remembered having to pick exhaust options when I bought mine.

Question for you Taco guys, and I assume you may have this option but I’m curious to hear from you all. ECT PWR. Do ya have it, do ya run it full time/part time/never? Thoughts?
I understand it’s function and purpose and have been experimenting with it lately and am just trying to gain more info from others

Ok for real though, does anyone want five 245/75R17 Dueller AT tires with like 1k on them? At this point come get them in Reston and they're yours before I throw them up on the Jeep forums. I've got 4 weeks and I need them out of my storage unit now.

They're the height of a 265/70R17 but slightly narrower, clearly. Would be a slightly larger tire for someone in a Sport.

The tall reverse gear seems to be the main driver for a lot of folks getting this mod. I would only be using it for towing, which is fairly infrequent, so the sequence to engage and disengage shouldn't bother me. But I could see it being a pain to do on a daily basis. Still worth it though IMO.

If I'm reading it right, the insert card will come with the harness. Did one not come with yours?

My harness did not come with the card, but I ordered the harness and switch a few months back when I was still in VA. I just PM'd David (@daveeasa) and asked for a card, which he mailed out to me here (super awesome of him to do, and I got it Wednesday this week). The card is sweet and tucks into the sleeve on your driver's side visor.

When I bought it there were two MT's on the lot. This and a black ACLB OR. The decision was easy.
