How is the new Taco inventory at dealerships near you?

Curious about the availability of new 2020 Tacomas around the country.
Out here in the Pacific they are getting scarce. Tacomas are the most popular new vehicle choice on our island, but there are only 3 4x4 Tacos available, and it looks like those will be gone pretty quick.
4x4 4Runners are completely out of stock here, there are 3 2wd T4Rs total and no expectation of when more will be coming in. Since all 4Runners are made in Japan, this makes a bit of sense.

 

I just checked Toyota of Orange's website. They have 17 Tacoma's available and 3 Tundra's. When I bought my Taco from that same dealership last April they had 60 Taco's in-stock!

 

It's pretty much wiped out around here but they are finally starting to trickle in. One local dealer that had around 40 Tacomas when we were looking before the new year was completely sold out. Think he got a few in now though. The dealer ours came from currently has only 2. That's also a huge drop from pre pandemic.

 

Did a quick check around the Atlanta area on 4 dealer sites, on just those 4 they have over 100 Tacomas in stock....there are quite a few more toyota dealers around the area

 

My local dealership (Longo Toyota) is the largest Toyota dealership in the world (no ... seriously) and they only have 5 in stock.

Zero Tacoma's at my local dealer that I saw. Website shows 2, a 2wd Sr and a 4wd SR but nowhere to be seen on the lot.

They're also a Ford Dealer and have 50 New Ford trucks / F150's, Rangers and Superduty's.

Guess nobody wants a Ford? Reliability issues and long term resale values?

 

Zero. They've got a used F150 on their outdoor pedestal right now.

 

San marcos Toyota has 56 tacomas! Autonation south austin has 17, Charles maund Toyota has 21. Inventories are going back up here in the central Texas area.

 

Went in for regular service today at a dealership about 45 mins from Orlando. I think I saw one 2020 Taco on the lot and two Tundras. One of the salesmen said that supply is limited and they're selling almost every truck that comes in, sometimes even before they're unloaded onto the lot.

 

In SE Pa the inventory is starting to pick up. I’d say dealers have a little less than half of their typical stock before COVID. FWIW, about a month ago stock was near nothing.

 

My local dealer in central NJ is showing 1 new Tacoma, 2 new Tundras, and 9 new 4Runners.

 

abysmal. there hasnt been a taco or 4r in the inventory for a long while.

 

Dealer I purchased from had about 100 when I bought mine. Up until last week had zero. Website showing 29 now, none actually on the lot, all in transit. I suspect most will be sold before they arrive.

 

Yep no Tacoma’s over here on BI for quite a while now.

We ordered a rav4 xse in January which took 7 months to get here. We were tempted to not buy it because of having no income right now but decided to get it because realistically we would have to wait over 12 months for another one , maybe even longer.

The salesman asked if I wanted to selll my Tacoma... hell no!

 

Two at my dealership today.

 

According to the websites of my two local dealers, they have 19 between them. One of them was down to 3 the other day when I checked. Also saw a TRD Pro listed on their website for the first time in a long while.

 

My local dealer in the Metro Detroit area, has 1 in stock. Typically they would have 2 or 3 in stock.

 

79 in my area - Western NY state.
