Noticed you'll have heim steering, are you upgrading the rack as well?

Most fabbed spindles kits will use an aluminum tie rod instead of inner and outers.

Yeah I'm asking about the steering rack not the tie rod

Eventually, that's the plan. Sorry for the late reply, went back to sleep. At work now.

Ha! Thanks, man. Still got a few more things to do before we can call the front end finished. Right now I have too much preload on my coilovers, so we are going to swap springs to a larger size. While the coilovers are out were are going to cycle the suspension, see where we want it to bump at, then weld those in. Then while we're there and got space we will weld in the upper strap clevis'.

After that, we can call the front end of the suspension done. As soon as that happens I have some 6" Fiberwerx Fenders to put on and we can take off the front bumper and start building our new one.

I just spoke with Bobby about doing custom upper shock/bypass mount (With uca mounts) for the colorado using the BK arms, so I can run a proper ADS racing 8 inch coilover and Bypass.... And also a set of new axles for the longer travel... Cant wait to see what he comes up with.... not so excited about pricing... but pgotta pay to play

Getting the bump stops set. 1.5" of shaft will be showing on the coilovers/bypasses at full bump.

Yeah, right now we're still making adjustments and tuning it. Going to be swapping to larger coil springs. Would've been done already but I was shipped the wrong size, so now I'm waiting for the correct size coils to come in.

In October I'll be heading to the sand dunes to test it out.

LSK and Solo Motorsports make 4x4 race kits which are similar.

looks like you are giving up some uptravel, any reason why you set the bumps up to bottom out so early?

That may be angle of the pic. The bump is fully compressed but might not be touching the control arm.

There's shock shaft showing meaning there's more up travel available - I assume they're limiting it to keep the spindle away from inner fender - even then there's some space. Might change it when the truck gets fully caged etc.
