The MaxTrax is made of better materials which allow it to have a wider temperature range and more flex. At the temps I want to use it at, the cheap boards get brittle and from what I've read most will fail after 1-2 uses at 0 F temps. If I was a serious off roader I would definitely want a quality board.
When you depend on your equipment, you need to buy dependable equipment. For work I buy high quality tools but for a task I only plan to do a few times in my life I head straight towards Harbor Freight.

CaliRaised Premium. I wasn't planning on a light bar but side pods may be in my future. It checked all the boxes for my needs, very happy with it so far.

Thanks. I will check it out. Red looks good on black, by the way. Don't do too much of it though or it will look like ... well ... too much ... Maybe a nice red accent somewhere on the front and you have it nailed. I wanted a black truck but had to settle for the gray -- couldn't find one. But that is okay ... I don't obsess too much over the colors. Almost all of them are pretty nice.

I guess it really depends on where you’re at. I’ve lived here 26 years (four different counties) and I’ve never had an issue. Plant city is a small town. Their police dept. is a major source of revenue for the city so I can see that there.

Put my stock bump stops back on. Apparently these can't handle my flex lol

Got my Bartact Seat covers installed. Had an issue with the head rest covers not securing so they are not installed. Contacted Bartact and waiting for a response. They went on without a hitch and fit nice and snug.

Thanks! Since I do not plan on modifying the suspension I went with 235 85/16 Toyo Open Country AT3. Stock rims thinking about Plasti Dip just to see how they would look. Undecided still.

Just finished installing these. Audiofrog GS690. Sound so much better. I guess anything sound better than the stock speakers.

While I got the door panel apart also installed Meso Puddle Lights.

Got the pros installed by @Shmellmopwho if you're looking for sliders, CMC or suspension installs hit him up support the little guy during these times!
    Wrote my review here:https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-antenna-mounts.374697/page-146#post-23917200

    QUICK REVIEW of the Pros:
Im real happy with the ride quality going from my sport Hitachi shocks 50k miles to the pros.
It still maintained that sporty handling and firm ride which I personally prefer.
Now the small imperfections and bumps on the road around my town no longer rattle the truck like before, which would get pretty scary during rain season, I hydroplaned a couple times every year from hitting imperfection on the road during rain. I feel confident these will do better.
I can now take corners a bit faster since there is less body roll now.
There is less brake dive but I didn't feel it was that bad before like compared to the off-road.
The truck feels more "planted" especially when taking big dips it no longer bottoms out.
Truck sits leveled now which I no longer rub with 265/70/17 when hitting the dips and locking the wheel at full turn like before.

Im real happy with the pros, sure they're not kings but for the price and increased ride quality it was worth it.
Im still pretty new to off-roading so I think the pros are a great place to start and build experience with. Kings are in the future but would be overkill right now.
Probably going to ride with some TW members to get some off road knowledge and push past just fire roads.

I highly recommend a Valentine one, it almost never goes off from nearby radar CC and it is super sensitive. It’s pay and cry once, been using them for over 20 years

finished installing my Blackvue DR750S-2CH dash cam (2 channel front/rear) with a power magic pro for parking mode. Really satisfied with the quality. I am still learning how to set up the cloud

Also installed the black overlays on the emblems. Looks much better and worth it as you don't have to waste time either removing & installing new emblems or covering/masking your truck for plasti dip.

You read my mind! I just pulled the trigger on a rack and wanted to do this same thing. Can you tell me where you got the grab handles? Did you make them? If so, how do you feel about making some more? ;)
