After replacing my door speakers I started noticing water pooling up on my floor mats when it would rain. I pulled the door panel and speaker from the door and my speaker is getting soaked in the door channel probably because it sits in deeper than stock speakers. Has anyone else had this issue?

No. Both doors do it. I took a water hose and lightly sprayed at the bottom of the window on both sides. The inner door gets wet.

Yep... not that bad, but still more water than there should be. Apparently Tacoma "normal".

that is how doors work the water that hits the window runs down past the window wiper rubber, it is not a seal, the water in turn runs down through the door and out the bottom of the door. There are holes in the bottom of the door, on the outside of the bottom door seal that allow the water to exit the door. Your vents are probably clogged with trash, clean them out

There are holes on the bottom of the door so water can escape. Jack up the front end and blow air to remove the clog.

    This. ^^^

Has nothing to do with the speakers.

However, many installers will put a plastic shield over the back of the speaker to deflect water. A cool whip bowl cut in half is common if you don't have a fancy retail piece.

It has a lot to do with water on the speakers, accumulated water in the bottom of the door, ac inside the car, condensation on the speaker, most of this will be eliminated if the doors drain as they should, but a water barrier on the back of the speaker is also a good idea

Didn't make my point clear.

There was water in the door pre-speaker change out, it just wasn't known about. And it's ok to be. As long as the drains work.

The new speakers didn't cause the water. It was just an event that allowed the water to be revealed.

I noticed this after the storm. I had windows cracked with visors, thought it was my fault. It rained again, windows up, and passenger side wet again, but not near as bad. hmm..

The drains work fine. I was mainly looking for a solution to water on the speakers. The problem I’m having is the speakers getting wet. And also making it in to my cab. Luckily I have weathertech floor mats so no damage. But there still should be something I can do to keep the water from coming in through the speaker grill.

Literally the same exact thing happened to me a couple years ago I also replaced with kicker speakers. My problem was that water was coming through the speaker grills and into the cabin. I realized that the stock factory speakers have a little water deflector shield on the top half, which the kickers do not have.

I solved it by buying a speaker baffle, and cutting it so just a small shield is over the top of the speaker, similar to the factory. I put the cut up baffle over the speaker.

    Never had a problem since.

That's why the stock speakers have the plastic Shroud that extends beyond the magnet, to protect it. Recreate that with some plastic
