Thanks! It seems the easiest way to tell the difference is to look for the 4x4 decal on the tailgate...but I'm the kind of person who would still remove it. Ha!

 

Finished with my mud flaps. No rubbing up front after some trimming. Used all the factory bolts. The 9x15 doesn't offer a lot of protection, but I wanted them up higher and wider to help out with my paint. Low profile was necessary for clearance purposes. So plasticolor it was. They checked all the boxes, low profile, flexible, not too big, not too small, INEXPENSIVE. I think they are pretty stealthy looking and dont affect the look of the truck while still providing a fair level of protection from keeping crap off my paint and the people driving behind me.


Im still planning on adding some type of modified splitter type flap to the end of the rocker panels (to the front of the rear wheel wells). I have a black truck and wide stance, so it should add some more paint protection without taking away from the aesthetics. I'll post up pics when I make some up. They're hardly noticable on black.

 

My 2020 got windows tinted, no lift planned...utility pkg. De-badged & went skinny for the tires!! Thinking about Plasti Dip for the stock rims

What color is your truck?

 

How is it some SR have plastic fenders and some not, the same for colored bumper and some not?

 

I plastidipped mine and they lasted pretty well, but I ended up removing it (pain in the butt) and painted them with Duplicolor wheel paint available at Auto Zone or the like. That lasts 100 times better. As good as factory paint and cheap and easy to touch up if needed although I haven't had to in about 40,000 miles.

The Utility Package SR does not have color matched bumpers, mirrors, or doorhandels.

Convenience package SR is color matched.

Sx package adds fender flares, black door handles, black mirrors, SR5 headlights.

This is for access cab. I'm not sure about the double cab. Toyota has 1.2 million configurations for this truck. Its confusing.

Folks also have also added fender flares. The beauty of a blank canvas pickup truck. You can keep it simple or upgrade to your heart's content. Love the SR model.

 

What does it take to get the wide stance? I want that when I get new tires. I plan to upgrade from the stock tires to the Fallen Wildpeaks. I'm guessing new rims would be in order too.
