Went and ran a battery through my udr and got it filthy lol. Also decided to cancel my new one on back order and added the front, middle and rear aluminum skid plates.

I didn't notice the 808. Yeah. A crawler is what you'd want and the Axial Capra is the newest one out. The kit builds easy and then you can pick your parts like tires and electronics. It's a 1/10 scale more or less and maybe the size of a shoe box. If you wanna go a little smaller there are some available in the 1/12 flavor. If you have a more manicured setup to crawl on then you could look at some of the scalers out there. Axial, Vaterra, and RC4WD have some decent offerings.

Just remember, no Ready to Run is perfect for every scenario. They'll all need some tweaking and money thrown at them.

I hate the transmission and dig in my capra. I have a vanquish built 3 gear and dig for it but I gotta get the ucfab skid and dig servo flip mount to install it. the axial clicks, the dig is tough to set up and has a servo limitation that makes it clunky imo. I burned up the first servo in about 10 runs on the free wheel setup. It's just not enough and the rig is too tight to pull it and replace regularly

My Capra dig servo was fairly painless to setup with my RadioLink Tx. I set the end points and that’s about it really. It is a knob to turn and about 2/3 is the sweet spot for free wheel.

I've had the TRX4 D110 crawler for. Few weeks now and it's been great.

I just started building a TRX4 crawler kit for my son and ordered this body for it.
    059C706D-D4B4-4CA8-B83F-D2BBC11F10C2.jpg

I added a metal steering servo horn and a switch so I can turn it on without removing the body.

Just to prepare you, I tried a lexan version of this body (same mold) on my TRX-4 and the bed just isn't going to work with the stock rear suspension without some cutting or having the body sit really high. You can probably get a cantilever suspension setup to get rid of the shock towers. I cut the bed to clear the towers, but eventually completely removed the bed floor and added a Honcho rear cage.

This one supposedly fits but I'll find out. I'll go with a cantilever shock setup if it doesn't. The pictures and video on the killerbody site show it on the trx4 without the bed cut.

Nice! I loved that body style and wished I could have made that lexan body work for me. I think the rear battery placement was also an issue. I've made so many changes my TRX isnt much of a TRX anymore except maybe the axle housings and transmission. Currently rocking some extra recovery gear in preparation for a team comp this evening.
