Just want to post up a quick note on the Bead-It SiO2 Spray Wax from Jescar. I threw this in the cart during a recent order to try something new.
Used it the other night after washing the truck. This stuff is super easy to use. I used a very short knit mf towel for the application. Nice appearance afterwards, and any type of protection is yet to be determined, but it did provide some nice little beading after raining yesterday. I'm not expecting much from it; afterall, it's just a maintenance product in my eyes. Not something I expect to last beyond 2 weeks, but I'll take it. Again, for me, the highlight of this product was ease of application and being able to use it on any exterior surface. I know it's a little pricey, but grab it during a discount if it's something you want to experiment with.

Jescar is what they re-branded Menzerna products to a few years back in North America for some reason. Generally speaking, they make very nice stuff. (Jescar / Menzerna Power Lock is still my favorite synthetic sealer.)

There are a ton of SiO2 spray on coatings on the market today under a bewildering number of names and you're right, they're super easy to apply. Better yet, they provide a killer shine, last for months and bead like crazy. Do they actually protect the paint? I'm not really sure. Keep us informed as your application ages to see how well you like it in the longer term.

Yep! I'm assuming Menz got bought out or something.

Will definitely keep this updated to see how it lasts. Here's a pic of the beading. No beading prior to applying this but it probably had some lingering protection from the last coat of wax.

Finally reapplied this past weekend. Did a standard fall/winter prep; clay-polish-seal. Only difference in my routine was using one of the surface prep pads on the DA for the clay step. Then went w/ PB PwS which has always been my go-to one stepper. Topped it w/ the Jescar again and I think I have the slickest surface I've yet to achieve. It's crazy. My buddy laid his sunglasses on the hood, not knowing it was just cleaned and they slid right off
    Pretty good reflections too
