Tire and wheel configuration stock trd sport

I am sure this has been addressed. I’m wanting to get new tires and wheels but do not want to lift or level the truck and do so without any rubbing. Anyone want to share photos of what they’ve done. Thanks!

I’d rather go with bigger wheel and smaller tire look.

 

The suspension height is identical on sr5, sport and offroad.

 

You can fit 265/70/17 no problem.

 

The front air dam on the Sport would be the only difference in clearance between to the two. Ride height is the same and stock tires are the same overall diameter. I went up a tire size on my Sport with stock wheels and no rub. Changing the wheel offset is where most people run into issues.

 

I went up to 265/70 17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. The stock tires were 265/65 17. No rub at full lock or any bumps so far. I still have my oem mud guards and air dam as well.

 

How do you like the terra grapplers?

 

I’ve only had them a week, so just a few hundred miles on them thus far. They ride smooth on the highway, but you get a little of that AT tire hum. They actually feel smother on some of the more jarring bumps in the road. It’s a bigger tire, so it seems to absorb more of those impacts. I got to try them out in the rain And on some dirt roads and they did great. It’s a significant improvement over the stock tires. As long as I get decent tread life out of them, I think they’ll suit my needs very well.
