Wow, that's a good price. I just got the Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Kevlar (265/70/16) and I like them, will keep these in mind the next time I need tires.

Why so much disdain to save money for the same product? It's literally just a few wires. That's the equivalent of refusing to chuck the Toyota OEM radio for an aftermarket headhunt.

There absolutely is. And it's about $50.

I helped a friend add a Curt in-line trailer harness to his 2005 2.7L Tacoma. He snagged a used tow hitch off a v6 truck for $40, and bought the Curt harness off RockAuto for $50.
Beautiful harness. Literally clips into your taillight harness. No cutting or modifying wires. The only issue is the ground wire. The instructions provided by Curt say to "find a ground nearby" or "drill a hole in your frame". Uhh...No thanks on the drilling hombre. Not on these cotton candy frames. So we ran a ground wire all the way up to the battery and wired tied it along the way.

I would imagine you could have used any bolt that was already bolted to the frame, like rear shock mount, etc

In theory, you are probably correct. I am a little nervous of chassis grounds in general though. Between my best friend and I, we have wired in many aftermarket radios, amplifiers, speakers, etc. We frequently run into interference, hissing, buzzing, etc that is from an improperly/non-ideally mounted ground wire.
Almost every vehicle I've had has some sort of ground interference between the cigarette lighter and the aftermarket radio. Whenever I plug my phone into charge the radio goes "zzzzzzzzzzz". So annoying. Likely solved by simply running one of the grounds straight to the battery...
