That's not bad at all. If you can get a larger tank you can mount it under the truck on the frame itself and then you can really have some fun without having to worry about topping it off every so often.

    Gotchu fam.

I’d recommend SS lines if mounting down low. More durable and the connection is better than push to fit lines. Also meth is very flammable.

You want the reservoir considerably higher up in elevation than the pump to work properly.

I just recommend keeping the components protected somewhere. Engine bay, trunk, etc. I had my stuff on the bumper crash bar but even that wasn’t recommended by a few folks. Front collision would send my car up in flames or something.

Yeah but if you look at it that way, it would also affect you if say you put it in your trunk (assuming it's a car) and then you got rear ended. Same thing.

Water/ meth mix or water alone doesn't just suddenly catch on fire.

How do I know if my truck is pulling timing? I’ve got a issue where sometimes my truck feels like absolute crap and AFR’s go into the 10’s

Like a super expensive one or can a basic one do it?

HP tuners is what I use. Ideally you’d use a tool that can data log.

You can get a cheap OBD bluetooth dongle and get Torque (might need the pro version?) off the app store. Connect your phone to the OBD device and go into torque and you can create a custom display to show timing (or any other PID really). Not as fancy as a full log but if you think its timing would at least let you see that real time

For example this is the OBD dongle I have and it works just fine.

Im going to do this cause it’s not always that it does it so can’t just keep a diagnostic tool connected until it does do it. Have any of you guys found that these trucks are picky on the brand of fuel you guys use? Both times it’s happened to me have been right after filling up

Check your intercooler coolant pump to make sure it’s working. If it fails, any changes in air density will be downstream of the MAF sensor and your ECU can’t correct for it.

I've thought about water only injection, but it rather seems like trying to squeeze water out of a rock. But keeping those combustion chambers clean and the benefits of water to steam for cooling and thrust (read up on water injection for power in WWII fighters) is tempting.

What we really need is a better compressor. But that's unlikely to happen on an out of production engine now.

Thing is whatever problem I have I think it is correcting for it just by the way it kinda goes into limp mode but not full on limp mode. I can hear the pump working with the key on so I don’t think it’s that unless sometimes it fails but I doubt it

Wondering if you got any of the correct size spacers? I already have the pulley and spacer but would happily just buy another that's the correct size.

Tensioner should be showing up today.

    Very informative! Well stated.

In all honesty, this is where the standalone shines. As you can add in additional sensors and programmable functions, over the OEM ecu.

I think there is one available output on the OEM ecu, when using the HP Tuners? Someone will chime in on that.

I did not get correct spacer. Could probably get one made but I was worried about precision in my measurements. Instead I used a electrical conduit clamp screwed to board and cut the AL spacer with fine toothed carbide saw in my chop saw then sanded edges smooth. I posted picture somewhere in this thread. Since spacer is AL it cut through like butter but I probably wouldn't use a fancy Forrest blade but the used Freud one I had was just fine.
