Have any of you guys out there installed a Hydraulic Winch from Mile Marker? I cannot seem to find a Tacoma installation thread on these anywhere. I'm getting a bit frustrated. The instructions are pretty lacking https://milemarker.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/75Series_HI10500.pdf and Mile Marker seems to have sent me the wrong install kit with no refund.

I bought the HI10500 winch off a buddy. He never installed it on his Land Rover and end up selling the vehicle. I ordered the Tacoma hydraulic adapter kit from MileMaker's Amazon store but I was sent the Hummer kit. I requested a refund or replacement and even made a complaint to Amazon. I still don't have the correct kit. I'm not expert in hydraulic fittings. Am I missing something here? Should these parts all be similar? I rather not begin removing lines only to find none of the fitting I already have will mate up. I've seen guys take the lines to a Hydraulic shop and have the fitting welding. Still, I rather be able to remove it later if needed.

If you've installed one of these, can take some photos to share? That would be very helpful. I'm particularly interested in the hydraulic line connections. I've been driving around for months with a winch bolted on that not even hooked up. lol

It's been years since I heard about these, and at the time, I thought it was an awesome concept. I had forgotten about them till I just read your post. I have no experience with them, but am very familiar with working on hydraulics and it's amazing what you can do with hydraulics. With that out of the way, I looked at their website and the only install kit they offer for Toyota is '79-'02. So, unless someone on here has personally installed 1 of these winches on a 2nd gen Taco, you're on your own. As I'm sure you know, the problem is going to be getting high pressure fittings to match up. Although hydraulic hose shops can make every kind of hydraulic hose imaginable, it's doubtful that they have anything that will match up to the Toyota PS pump. If I had to guess, I would guess that your only success with a hydraulic line shop will be to have them take your hose, cut it in the middle and hope they have crimp fittings that will fit your hose. If you decide to go that route, it might be better to buy a NAPA PS pressure hose for your truck, pick the best location to cut it and then take it to the hydraulic shop along with your lucky rabbits foot. If they can crimp on fittings that match up with the fittings on the hoses from Mile Marker, then you're all set.
