15s is a pretty good time stock. power mods and a timed 4wd launch should get you into 14s easy.

    Huh.

Maybe Toyota delivered a platform capable of extra crap but have little effects on through the acceleration

Wow, I wonder how a stock MT with the 4.30’s would have fared.

I’ve never had much issue with with traction on pavement, with all the electronics disabled, so 4H wouldn’t help me much. Does anyone else’s 3rd gen do spontaneous burnouts?

I think TFL did some 0-60 runs with all the various permutations of drive modes and traction modes. 4H didn't help any... slowed it a bit.

do you have sb or your throttle modulated with ovt? cause stock i can tell you right now the throttle lag is horrendous and even with all the electronics disabled would have a heck of a time breaking the tires loose. theres just nothing there down low stock.

No mods, nope. Though I’ve never dropped the clutch at redline, what I’ve done has me pretty confident anything short of boost wouldn’t cause detrimental loss of traction on these trucks. Especially with such a low ratio 1st gear tires just can’t spin much.

thats cool man, and certainly your perogative. im gonna boost down the road too. probably gonna go with magnuson since i always wanted to try the supercharged life lol. for now im good with sb, and ovt which should be picked up inthe next few days. lets see what thats all about.

anyhow, back on topic. i do feel an mt truck woulda fared better totally stock. but it was also cool to see a truck with all that heavy ass stuff on too still boogie off the line lol.
