The old four door defenders are selling for $50-$100k plus. It's crazy.

There are so damn many RR around my area that one day I started counting for comparison. One way trip from shopping to home and I counted 5 mustangs and 12 RR. I just picked another common car to compare against. Crazy.

Yeah the newer ones (post 90's) a not a reliable truck. They look awesome. There fantastic off road, you can kit them out. I love the look of the Old Defender 90 and 110's. There are a couple of LR and RR boutiques that put out stunning rebuilds.

In fact I like the looks of the new Defender. But that is a lot of money to gamble on a truck with such a sketchy past when it comes to reliability
    and ease of ownership.

Similar around here, and also how quickly they disappear. It seems to be the same with any successful or posh vehicle launch. I often wonder how many are leases, but then, there are a lot of mods on most to be a smart move on a lease.

I am really curious to see how many of the absolutely fugly M3s and M4s are driving around. I have only seen one of the hideous X7s, when I would normal have seen quite a few.

Yep. There was a badass 110 for sale recently around here. $70k. It was a bit overdone, but would have been easy to tone down. Sexy as hell though.

I keep seeing a certain 90 running around. Really good looking until you see it is an AT. Bah!

JLR is a big client, I get them at an amazing discount direct from Corp. still wouldn’t buy any of their stuff.

i bought a Range Rover for the wife many years ago - literally fell apart at 40,000 miles. Had 2 friends that also bought them for their wives & neither lasted even until that 40k milestone.

taught me 2 things about the brand: unreliable & for women...
