I am soon to be buying tires for my taco. Looking at a more aggressive offroad tire... KM3 is just so darned expensive (but I like the look and have a great history with BFG.) Mile Star gets great reviews and is generally $100 cheaper per tire than the BFG's. Wondering what your experience has been? I am looking to run a 255/85r16 but Mile Star doesn't market one in the Patagonia so have to go down to a 265/75r16...

    Thanks in advance

I have the 265/70/17 on my 07 Tacoma. I haven't had any problems with them . Definitely have some good cleats on em.

I was about to buy them cause they looked aggressive and Walmart had them cheap. Looking at other car forums at that time, they had bad reviews from poor road handling to greater road noise than typical off-road tires. I decided against it and stuck with my hankook tires

Hi there. First time poster. Long time stalker. I ran the Patagonia MT tires on my 1984 K20 truck for over a year in the 275/85R16 size. If you are looking for an offroad tire, this was the cat's meow. Handled everything I could throw at it offroad. Never let me down. On road/highway, manners were pretty good due closely spaced center blocks. As for noise, I don't recall it being too bad but then again, the K20 wasn't a garage queen by any stretch of the imagination. Admin. Please be gentle if I broke some cardinal rule of posting Chevy pics.

I have Patagonia's in 285/70/17. Super quiet on pavement, can't even tell they're mud tires.

If you’re looking for another alternative, I just got these Maxxis Razr’s on my truck. These are surprisingly quiet and only cost $210 each. I have 285/70/17 and they balanced and aligned nicely.5EA4930E-91C6-4CC3-B05B-D7F509963507.jpg

I have them in 295/70/17 and they seem to have as much road noise as any other MT. I like them so far. About 10,000 miles on em so far.
