When the truck is running, shifting into 4x4 does nothing. No light, no motors running, nothing.
If i turn the truck off put it in 4x4, turn key on, it will go into 4x4, then again nothing. Stays in 4x4, switch wont command the module to come out of 4x4.

Turn key off, go back to 2, it shifts. I can repeat this over and over, if im in 4wd, i can go in and out of 4l and 4h, but not back to 2.

After doing this for a while it started working perfectly fine, im guessing there was high resistance in either the add or the t-case motor causing the module to turn off? has anyone run into that? Im thinking me working it over and over made the connections reconnect properly. Would you guess its the add or the t-case motor?

My guess, and it’s just a guess.
Is that it’s the ADD, it’s notorious for giving trouble.
And since you can go between 4H and 4L with no problem, that makes me “doubt” the T-Case.

Although, the part where it works fine if you turn the truck off has me stumped?

Yea that was making me lean towards a faulty module, but after, cycling it over and over in and out of 4wd using the key off and on method, it eventually cleared itself. It seems like the contacts in the add were causing high resistance, thats the only thing that comes to mind. The switch was working while it had issues.
