    Hello everyone,

Quick question for the group -

A little background on my situation - 2019 TRD OR DCSB, 265 65 16 duratracs, no real mods to speak of aside from the tires and some cosmetic shit.

I do a fair amount of offroading between driving on the beach to go surf perch fishing, skiing/snowboarding in the winter time, meeting up with my buddies to hit the green/blue trails at some of the OHV areas near me and my monthly treks up some nasty roads (read - f*cked roads) to the remote mountain lakes where the Subaru's can't go.

I go hunting in the fall as well, which requires me to hit some trails as well but nothing too crazy. Mostly just muddy trails with a quartered up deer or elk in my bed.

I've been planning on picking up a set of Bilstein 6112/5160 shocks w/ an AAL to help with the trucks performance. I was only going to lift/level the truck about 1" above the 265 75's since anything more wouldn't really be useful for me in my situation.

I have the opportunity to pick up a set of Fox TRD Pro shocks for pretty cheap. Low miles (IE - less than 500) on the Pro's and they're pretty much the same cost as the Billy's. Seems like a good deal.

For folks who've had to make this decision - which set up did you pick and why?

Look into Progressive vs Digressive valving on them. I like my 6112s but some people I've spoken with don't like that they can allow more body roll on the interstate rather than less due to the way they're set up to handle higher speed whoops. I love them when I hit bumps, but not when I almost hit a deer.

That's a good point. Most of the situations I need the shocks for are at relatively low speed. I'd prefer something a little more composed at high speed.
