So I have a 17 pro with about 48k on the odo and just recently put a relentless fab rack and tepui 2 person RTT on. Both rotopax are empty as of now since I haven't taken it out yet. I'm worried about suspension sag and wear and tear. I live at an apartment complex so I don't have a storage space for the rack/tent when I'm not using it. I suppose I could rent one but don't really see the purpose of paying extra just to store the two.

Has anyone noticed any sag or difference in their stock fox suspension from running a setup similar to this? with the RTT and rack with empty rotopax I'd say the added weight to the bed/rear is about 200lbs. Tent is ~100lbs dry weight and the rack was probably 70-80lbs.
I am planning a trip to colorado from SC this upcoming fall for some overlanding/camping with some friends from out there and just want to know if anyone has any suggestions for alterations or support for extra weight.

I’ll let you know in a few weeks I have a 19’ Pro have a bestop and Uptop Truss rack inbound with plans for a tent next month. Looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say on here.

I’d swap the rear leaf pack.

on my TRD pro tundra i added an at habitat (350-400 lbs). I would definitely notice the weight and lost an inch or two in the rear. I swapped to a icon RXT leaf pack and all has been well since. Still running the rest of the factory pro suspension.

by the time you add gear for your trip, you’ll have a decent bit of weight back there.

I used to mess with suspension in cars years ago, never on trucks. It looks like this Icon leaf pack is basically a bolt on mod? Do I just need some jack stands and a torque wrench?

Pretty much. Take off the u bolts. Remove the front and rear bolt. Remove leaf pack. Put in new leaf pack. Put bolts back in. The instructions are posted on the product page, it’s only like 4 pages and full of pictures.

it took like 2 hours to do on my tundra start to finish.
