I've almost always had white, grey, or black vehicles. For the Tacoma I wanted something different. Fell in love with Voodoo Blue. I do think most colors (including voodoo that I own) are pretty ugly in stock form.

    My preferences:
    Voodoo (with gold wheels)
Cement (with white, black, or bronze wheels)
    Cavalry (with bronze wheels)

Lol Hell of a write-up man. No offense to any Quicksand owners, but that’s my least favorite by far.

Super White is what I have. I'd love Cement, Cav Blue, Voodoo, or Quicksand, though.

I did most of my negotiations (for a TRD Off 4x4 Road, automatic, short bed, double cab) over the phone - with 3 separate dealerships within a 2 -3 hours drive of my farm. I did use USAA car buying service (I think it is Tru Car). I was actually wanting a used one but was quickly realizing buying new was the best value on a Tacoma. I drove up to the best deal - for my preferred color... SILVER. While I was there I got an email from one of the other dealerships, offering me a great deal (34500) for a black one. The ONLY color I would not buy is black...but I had not told anyone that. I showed the offer (the email had the pic and info of the truck) to the dealership I was at. I told them I was going to go get that one. They said they would not match the offer and as I was walking out. They came out and asked me if I would take a Calvary Blue truck - same specs for that price. I had never seen that color - they had 4 and only 1 silver...supply and demand. Honestly color did not matter that much to me - though for the past 40 plus years of buying cars - 95% have been silver, gold or white. I said I could deal with that color if they could have me driving off within 45 minutes and sell it for 34300...they did. Now...I love the color because it reminds me of the good deal. I've actually had more compliments on this color than any vehicle I've ever owned. The color looks different in different light. Here it is at our church - parked next to my son's Tacoma.

It’s essentially a pastel blue. It looks VERY good, and had they offered it in the 2020 models, I may have been driving one now.

I currently have a cavalry blue. If I didn't get cavalry blue, Army green would have been my next choice.

I thought it was close enough to Air Force Blue...LOL - my son had just been offered a shot at the USAF Academy so I thought it fitting (he did not accept/go). I still like my son's gold one better. White and Silver are my top 2 colors by far offered now (and when I bought mine).

I always wanted to put a shell on my truck, and while I really like colors like Cement and Calvary Blue, I don't think those colors look great with shells (too much of the color). I am happy with white but looking back on it I think I could have also gone with Barcelona Red with shell and been happy, maybe Quicksand too. I think a lot of these colors look great, just not with a shell. Could just be me.

I 100% agree - debated a shell...decided against it, but if I had got one I would have got a black shell (and I hate black) so I decided against the shell for that reason mainly.

I have the Superwhite (2nd choice) because I couldn’t find a fully optioned Silver DCLB OR at the time.

I have cement, adore it. I would have definitely gotten an army green pro if it were on the lot, and probably would have considered a quicksand as well.

Love my Army Green, but also like the Quicksand. I had a Beige '86 Toyota Pickup. That color was great because it never looked dirty.

I am not a fan of the matte finishes. When I purchased my 2019 last October only a few choices were available in the OR package. Silver Sky was my favorite. I was into the Magnetic Gray Metallic, but it's too close to my wife's '19 Pre Dawn Mica Highlander. With the help of the Chemical Guys VO7 wash and sealants, she SHINES and sparkles.

Ever since I was a kid, I've been a flyers fan (username checks out), and when I first spied the inferno on I think a Gen 2 pro at a dealership, I knew what my goal was. At the time when I was going to buy mine, cement was only available in the pro, so blue was 2nd choice for me. But really, I was not going to settle for anything but inferno (ended up getting a vehicle not on the lot but an allocated delivery... had to wait 2 months for it).
