At what point did you guys do your first oil change? Also I was wondering what oil Toyota uses from the factory as well.

I did mine at 1k, then I put mobil1 in there.

After the 1k break in period, i get rid of that filthy oil.

I did mine at 6 months, because I didn't drive much. I replaced with synthetic mobil 1 at 8500 miles.

First oil change dad did it at 1k miles! He wasn't sure how long original oil had been sitting there and wanted all new in! Also did a tire rotation and changed filters! May want to check spark plugs to! Never know how well the sales men took care of car!(hood up for show, during rain storms for example) Just as a precaution!

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
well his is an 09, so i wouldnt be worried about plugs or anything. if water can get to them w/ the hood up, there's more probs than just the plugs.

Mine was a special order truck as well so no one has even been in it but my window tint guy and my wife...well besides the Toyota folks it took to get it to Texas. I drive about 1000 miles or more a week so it wont take long at all to get to that first change. Anyone know what kind of oil that Toyota puts in them? I have two MINI's that have Castrol Synthetic from the factory in them....I get free oil changes at the dealer when I am home with it but I am really wanting to do Synthetic on this one too.
