Made the switch today and picked up a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road. We will see how it fairs as a daily driver as well as everything else I need it to do. Just wanted to say hi as I start checking out the forum.

What type of stuff do you plan on doing with it/ what type of off road driving did you do with the Jeep? I would be interested in a comparison after you put it through its paces.

Welcome! Remove the step rails if you plan to go off-road. Tacoma rock sliders bolt to the frame with some clearance to the cab pinch weld.

Right now I'm not planning on any off roading and not even sure where this truck will go as far as a build. My main goals are to keep it setup for daily driving and able to tow my camper without any issues. So I still have a lot to research and learn when it comes to lifting a Tacoma. I will end up doing some beach driving and maybe dirt road/trails. But no plans to rock crawl or anything thing like that. I hope to build another Jeep one day as a toy only.

What color is it? I think I'm going colorblind.

So now I just need to get color matched rear bumper caps to get rid of the chrome.

If you want a straight flat black bumper, maybe you should look to trade with someone with an Sr base model. I've heard of some doing that.
I think the blue car decieved my eyes and made the truck look blue.

Currently living in mid North Carolina. So I'm two hours from the mountains and two hours from the beach basically.
