So we got 3.17 inches of rain yesterday/night before Isaias...known low spot for water collection was a bit more drastic than normal, but nothing more than some of the recent severe thunderstorms throw at us at this time of year, as well.20200804_091626.jpg PSX_20200804_161646.jpg
Before the storm came, I finally got busy doing a few more trailers of wood moving (in total I have about 3 chords of rounds and split wood to move) for tree clearing later this month; clearing the corner pic left and behind the boat and now located wood piles
    Screenshot_20200803-131632_Photos.jpg
Finally got this soggy bastard thrice hand-me-downed riding mower loaded up and up to the in-laws for final rights and parting out the engine, battery, fuel lines, fuel stop and filter, carburetor, etc. Friday night.
    20200804_171745.jpg
Though not heavy towing, it was the first trailer highway trip post suspension upgrade...not really enough to provide any insights or feedback.

On the way home from work (trailer was at home) I was passed by &caught up to this guy toting the same model mower!! She looked garage kept!20200803_164756.jpg 20200803_164757.jpg
I should've seen if he wanted to buy it for parts:rofl:

Got the tires rotated Friday at 49,545mi...since then I have developed or am noticing while driving at highway+ speeds some decently noticable vibration/rattling in the steering wheel.

Guess I'll check my DL working angles and take hub to fender measurements nearly 1,000 miles put on the Elkas, setup a follow-up at Discount for possible balancing issue...and alignment I went ahead and addressed this in the appropriate place: ---> The Lair "aka everyone but Randy's shitty alignment thread"...already saw your comment on the lug over-torquing, shame I left the torque wrench at home vs. having had it in the truck since the sheered off wheel stud and lug looseness issue a month or so ago.

Got the wife's diesel oil and filter change at the neighbors late last night, and he threw on his obd tool to read up on what the check engine light was (came on yesterday afternoon picking up the baby)...thankfully it looks like a fluke code was thrown from the recent recall replaced pump.

Talked over the truck maintenance plan with him last night:
    • oil and filter change
    • extended brake line install
    • brake fluid change
    • Greasing DL zerks
    • UCA BJ zerks greasing w/moly graph grease (top off if any since they've been on for only ~1k miles)
    • splice and heat shrink, OR rewrap in electric tape OE fog harness & connection wires20200728_064853.jpg
    • sway bar delete
    • loosen front resi's brackets to replace engine OE bay splash guards with more splash coverage DIYs.
Gotta get 4 more qts of 0w-20 and pick up a bottle of brake fluid to go ahead and bleed/flush/change after installing the crown extended brake lines that came with the Elka suspension.

I figured I'm actually around 54,000 actual miles vs. OD reading due to the truck having 33's since it was on the dealer lot.

Got some trees cleared of the back of the front acreage and next to the house...except they called it quits around 1:30pm as the heavy rain was soaking the already wet ground (got 5in. last week betwwen tropical storm Isaias and severe t-storms the following day.) so they didn't want to risk rutting out the yard/getting stuck with the 17,000# of skid steer and tree shredder. We were thankful they were able to get a good chunk of the clearing done and cut in my shooting lane a little further back off into the woods.

Looks like it'll be 10 or so days before they'll be back to finish up the rest of the work...overall we're happy with the progress!20200814_114254.jpg

Oh she gone...parted out the engine, fuel lines/filter/shut off valve, carb, battery.
I think I was the 6th owner of that poor thing. Replaced damn near everything to fix having to jump it with a crow bar/large screwdriver!

Plus the deck maxed out at 2.1 inches on the left and 2.75 inches...the right front wheel would constantly go flat.

All this damn rain...some property that my dad and I manage got over 10 inches in the last 72 hours. Can't wait to go access the beach access paths.Screenshot_20200816-093918_DuckDuckGo.jpg

I still see chrome around the start button and the 4wd selector...

PS I have a spare red push button start if you want it for free...letters are ever so slightly crooked. I got a new one under warranty.

PS - I’m “that guy” who texts one text per sentence. I guess that somehow carries over to the forum as well. Sorry not sorry

    Karma?!?:D

Guess I need to put the heat gun to use inside and out!

I might take ya up on it...and I have the MGM start and 4x4 in there...I never see shit from the passenger side (like the start button, the sticker on driver door!)

20200815_113233.jpg still think it's glare on the start MGM and existing housing.

Hell typing on my phone in here can be A PIA when it overwrites and deletes whole sentences. Hell it adds to the thread & post counts either way.

Sometimes I've gotten MESO packages with tracking still showing in CA.

Is the steering wheel MGM as well? I went with that over black. Just haven’t seen anyone post pics of mgm yet.

Nope, black doors and steering...wish the MGM was available for steering by the time I got in, perhaps 20 mins after you?? Since MGM and the gunmetal grey kinda work...figured it's an easy replacement. Saw the guy that did all red MESO delete and the steering in red was too over the top.

I'd say something about USPS but it'd be flagged as pooliticalll given the most recent BS.

Hopefully they find it and get it out of the mail room.

Have you followed up with USPS?
