    Well...I hate to do this but it seems I’m out of options.

    I ordered a pair of diode dynamics ss3 AMBER SAE fog lights from ********** on July 4. They were on sale for 15% off so I figured why not..
    Well it’s been 3 weeks now and I still have no shipping info. I have reached out to them via email, phone and on Instagram’s DM with little to no results. The only communication I have had with them thus far was on Instagram where, after reaching out multiple times, I was told in a very short reply that they would “Hopefully” ship out Wednesday 7/22. I still have not received any shipping info and all my attempts to contact them since have failed.
    I really hate to have to bring something like this here but the total lack of customer service kinda leaves me with no other choice. Idk what to do at this point but it looks like I may need to call my credit card company and cancel payment.
    I really hope that this can be resolved soon and I will keep people posted. In the meantime I would be very hesitant to order anything from **********...

    Are these not the same SS3s advertised on the main resellers website as with a 3-4 week lead time?

    edit: at one point ALL of them white/amber had a back order disclaimer, looks like some are now in stock on di0de dynamics site

    I wasn’t made aware of any wait time, the vendor was saying that these were in stock and ready to ship. I was paying attention to that when I placed the order because I had looked at these fog lights on runnin4taco’s website and saw the disclaimer saying there was a 3-4 week wait. I kinda think this goes without saying but if you are a vendor selling something that you do not have in stock you should make customers aware. honestly I’m not in any rush so the delay isn’t really bothersome, the total lack of communication is my real concern.

    Well that’s interesting because someone posted a screenshot of their sale here under the Fourth of July sales thread. The person said that they had ordered the same lights on July 2 and got them within a couple days.

    Patience. I admit Amazon Prime has spoiled me, I complain that their 1 day delivery has slipped to 2-3 days. At some level I understand that Covid19 has disrupted the entire Matrix. Especially anything supplied from China. Production is still down and there are not as many flights coming in as before.

    What the hell does Amazon’s shipping policy and Covid have to do with a business not responding to emails, phone calls/messages and direct messages through social media. As I said before I’m not concerned about a delay, I’m concerned by the lack of customer service.

    lights were delivered, close to a month late. Got a free t shirt for the delay so that’s cool I guess. everything all worked out...
