Looking for a good source for replacement handles. Bought a used A.R.E. Shell and one windoor handle is toast and the rear door one is some random off brand. Looking to get them all matching up. Went to the local ARE dealer to order them and they called me yesterday and told me the key # I have on these is no longer made. Anyone know of a place that might still have some or will I have to replace all 5 to get them to match? Also need to get a replacement locking arms bar thing as mine has cracks to the middle handle no longer turns it and pushed the arms in place. Thanks!

Your other option (which I did for a while), is to just stop by all the local ARE dealers you can with the key you have or the code and just try and find a dealer that has a stack of old keys laying around that may have one that matches.

The are dealer gave me a key to match the working windoor handles so I’m good there. Issue is one windoor handle is toast so has to be replaced and the main T handled at the back is some random brand and designed to lock in the center since the lock bars are busted. I want to replace it with a handle with the same key as the windoors also.

OP - I live in the rust belt, so IMO just replace all of the locks. They typically only last a few years, even if you find a few replacements now, chances are the rest will need to be replaced soon anyway...

You can remove the lock core from your existing toasted handle and install it in the new one. It's kind of a waste to buy a new handle with a lock core, but I don't know if there is anywhere that sells it without.

If you know how to work with lock cores, you can remove the tumblers and potentially swap them with your old tumblers as well. I have rekeyed many Thule and Yakima locks this way.
