    I love access cabs because then I don’t have to be the one driving everyone around. But nearly as important, I love how easy it is to work on the interior of the access cabs! The suicide doors are so useful.

    Sound deadening the hell out of it.

    With the roof rack often full of shit and the noisy aging tires and the fact that this truck just seems to get louder and louder with age.... It’s a treat to ride in my wife’s 2007 Nissan Xterra. So quiet! I’m jealous. As such, I’m going bananas on my truck

    I did the roof a year ago. Last week I did the two suicide doors, today and tomorrow I am putting vibration dampening, closed cell foam and mass loaded vinyl on the floor and back wall. Next week will be the two front doors. I will likely upgrade the stereo while I’m at it. It’s a hassle but I’m tired of how noisy my truck is.

    When you get time could you post a side shot, looking for a used softopper. I tried out a friends 3rd gen on my 2nd gen. It looked alright. It wasn’t even with the top of the cab but looked good everywhere else.
