    Hello TW,

I am selling my homemade bed drawers that I used for storage, a camp kitchen and a sleeping platform in my 2016 ACLB. I built these almost 2 years ago (check out this thread for my build pics: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-storage-systems.424709/page-59#post-18754514 ).

They work great and and use ZERO fasteners to install in a long bed Tacoma. The frame sits in place snug between the wheel wells and flush to the back of the bed and tailgate. no rattling or moving around. The drawers are mounted on a series of roller bearings with a steel box tube attached to the drawer. To remove the drawers, simply just pull them out. At full extension, the tailgate helps hold the drawers flat and prevents the drawers from tipping the whole system out of the truck. When fully loaded and one drawer out at a time, no tipping occurs.

One drawer has removable dividers that provides the ability to compartmentalize your things as needed. The bottom of the drawer is painted and coated with flex seal to create non-slip surface to further help prevent excessive movement while moving.

The other drawer has a large storage area (no dividers) and an open front area that is set up for a cooking area. This area also has a custom bungee tie down set up to securely hold down any type of grill, griddle, etc that can fit in the space. This cooking area is painted with a high heat BBQ paint to prevent damage from heat from a cooker.

Each drawer has a latch that is lockable, but there are still ways to get into it, so it is not theft proof. It is not so much for security as it is to keep the drawers closed in the event I am driving with the tailgate down.

The screws in this pic are temporary. They have been replaced with smaller ones so there is no poking hazard anymore!

The top platform is in two symmetrical pieces and cut to a tight fit and sits flush with all edges of the bed. It also sits on the drawer frame and the top of the wheel wells to ensure there is no sagging when laying on it. I am 6' and 200 lbs and with gear, a dog, etc, I never had any creaking or sagging. It is very solid! The platform is painted and covered with an outdoor carpet. No mold, rips, tears, etc have occurred to this platform in almost two years of being in the truck full time (keep in mind, I had a topper the entire time).

Looking for $250 or best offer. Pick up only. Willing to meet within a reasonable distance to make the deal. I am in the San Antonio, TX area.

THIS IS ONLY FOR THE DRAWER AND PLATFORM SYSTEM. NO CAMPING EQUIPMENT INCLUDED!

not sure but the size and weight alone would probably double the price.

Hi! I’m in the Houston area and am interested. How much weight have you tried to load into the drawers? Or do you remember the specs of the drawer slides?

It’s had probably close to 75-100 pounds in the gear drawer at most with tools and supplies. The drawers use a steel tube sliding on a series roller bearings. Easily could’ve handled more than I ever put in it. If you’re interested, we can meet halfway between SA and Houston.
