Hi- used to post on here 6ish years ago when I had my 2014 DCSB TRD Sport 4x4, and been wanting another since I sold it. Finally convinced the wife and I picked up a 2019 DCSB TRD-Off-road yesterday for a dealership in League City. Super happy to be back in a Tacoma!

Any chance this another members truck? My wife will be driving it during the week for awhile so I can’t do anything too crazy...yet.

I like it a lot so far. To me, it seems more responsive driving around town. I haven't experienced any of the "searching for gears" that I've read about the transmission in these, yet. Though it does have an aftermarket intake which seems like it helps with throttle response (searching for a factory one though). I love the interior as well. Very clean and everything is easy to find. I've wanted one in White, Tan, or Cement since they came out. No complaints. Would be cool to have gotten a TRD Pro, but I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought my 2014 TRD Sport 4x4 brand new (my only brand new vehicle to date) and 6 months later I landed a sales role that came with a company car. Hated selling it, and just so happy to be back in another one.

What type of aftermarket intake and why are you searching for a stock one?

    Welcome back, btw.

It's a Rough Country intake. It seems fine but it is the loudest air intake I've ever experienced, that's including the aftermarket intakes in my '01 Z28 and both the '04 and '06 GTOs I used have. My wife is going to be daily driving it for about 6 months or so (she stays home with the kiddo and probably drives less than 500 miles a month) as I have a company car for work. For her and the kiddo it's just way too loud even under moderate acceleration. If it were just me, I'd probably go pair it with a loud exhaust and just embrace it LOL.

I actually just sourced a stock intake from a guy on here. Dealer wanted $1100!
