There is a Garmin one, has it's own fee's etc. Doubt it covers much of our "back country" or they ignore it.

@JasonLee suntour fork won't unlock, any ideas?

tried to pry the caps off but they only come up a half inch and don't look anything like the ones I'm seeing online

What model of Suntour? Post a photo of the adjustment lever/cap for locked out vs unlocked suspension.

My mtb rear shock is hard to unlock right now since the ball bearing / detent is binding a little bit. Thanks for the reminder to put a little dab of lubricant in there to fix it.

Both are turned as far left as possible.

Its an older Suntour XCM. No idea on history, I just picked up this cheap beater bike with the expectation that I may have to replace the fork anyway. I should probably disassemble and see how nasty it is inside.

Socket on those top silver caps will get you inside. Bolts on the bottom of the lowers on each side will allow you to pull the lowers off. I recon replacing the fork. Hard part may be finding a decent one with a straight 1-1/8" steerer tube.

But that bracket has them playing each other in round 2 potentially. Should they be playing lower seeds throughout the tournament before facing each other?

I believe they are re-seeding the teams in each conference after each round

Yeah, that fork was probably never serviced and the likelihood of getting parts to service it are likely 0%. I'd try ripping it apart. I'd guess some piece of plastic broke off internally and is restricting movement.

TIL/Trivia - there are three Cottonwood Passes (official USGS name) in CO - the two dicussed and a cutoff between Tabernash and Hot Sulphur Springs bypassing Granby. There are only 13 nationwide, with CA having three as well.

There's a couple from what I understand, but they charge and it can be expensive because there's so much to maintain (roads don't change that much, but construction on them or events like this are just totally random, etc). And when something like this happens, some drivers try to just figure it out themselves. That truck above there is just one of many similar stories, but the most common one is when they attempt going under something they don't have the clearance for. One of my favorite spots where it happens all the time apparently: https://1.bp.blogspot.com/_m_IR0KSzXUM/S0qDjOiECOI/AAAAAAAABAw/0rdg3Zrk53M/s1600-h/Tally-sign.jpg

Cleaned it up, a shot of paint and wrapped in artificial sinew to give the next layer some grip.

a layer of leftover paracord to give it some girth.

and a second layer. feels pretty good at this point and might help with the vibrations/numb hands.

some hockey tape to hide the ugly.

and it's still ugly, but comfortable and functional. That shit can always be removed and redone.
    Prolly won't though. :burp:
