Looking for a buddy with specific qualifications

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone in the San Diego area around here is a member of the Escondido Fish and Game Association. Asking because I would love to get a membership there, but one of the requirements to apply is to have a recommendation from an currently active member in good standing. I've been there once for a handgun training class, and I'd like to be able to go there recreationally for shooting, fishing, and camping.

I know they hold themselves to a high standard, so obviously I don't expect a recommendation right off the bat. But would love to meet another Tacoma/outdoor enthusiast to become friends with not only for the membership, but also likely pretty local to me who can help with truck/gun/camping/fishing stuff, or can go on outdoor trips together as well.

If this is something anyone who's a member would be interested, please let me know. I'm recently single, am always down for more friends/connections. Hell, even if you aren't a member of the EFGA, feel free to shoot me a PM if any of the other above listed activities interest you.
