I have a first gen S/C with URD 7th. So truck is shutting down intermittently. Was occasionally, now 2-3x/mile. Tach to zero. If happens at stop I have to turn key to off position first before it will restart. If not it just cranks.

Code P0335 pops up but on swapping sensor nothing changes. Even tested sensor and it is good. So I did continuity check on wires running from harness plug back to ECU E7(C) plug and they two check out. But continuity through URD tuner is good pin 6 but not on pin 12. Now pin 12 is the splice to the URD module. It seems as though I should have continuity running into and then out of URD module.

Does anyone know if there should be continuity? Can anyone help me out?

Go hit up the tips and tricks thread. You also may want to state what the label for the code is as well.

Where did you get your sensor from anyways? Vatozone or dealer?

Do you still have the old sensor? I would try swapping that back in and seeing what happens

Man I thought you meant scanner. The sensor came from my other rig which was running fine and is still running fine on other sensor.

New install or has it been running as is for a long time?

What other changes have you recently made?

Have you recently done the timing belt? I've seen it where the pulley bolt wasn't tighted enough and allowed the reluctor wheel to move, giving bad crank signal.

Not a new install. Nothing new. Timing belt was done 50-60k ago. I pushed and pulled on crank pulley and felt no play FWIW.

took URD module out of loop and plugged directly into stock ECU. Problem solved. It is issue with 7th module.

    thanks to all
