Hello TW, it's been a hot minute. Hope y'all have been keeping well. Haven't really done anything to the truck since last posting about it. Truck has basically hasn't been driven much outside of this past week with take a little family vacation to Lake Tahoe.

We attempted to run the back side of the Rubicon (just up to top of Cadillac Hill), but turned around due to some insane trail traffic. Probably the most congested I've ever seen the trail outside of something like MCR.

Basically the only photo that I took since we didn't even get that far down the trail. Unfortunate, but it happens. Hopefully next time we won't run into a huge crowd.

How is the dual cases treating, there’s been lots of dual case discussion happening in the NorCal threads the last few days!

Outside of a leaky shifter plate on my transfer case, it's been solid. The extra low range has been very nice to have. Just need to weld on and install the hard mount for the crawl box, and figure out how to fix the leak, and it'll be set for a long while.

What is the crawl box geared at? I’m leaning heavily toward the Tacoma trail creeper completely built, which comes with the 4.7. Did you go with the triple sticks, I can’t remember?

The triple sticks I have are a hybrid between Inchworm and RADesign. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the RADesign's Triple Sticks since they leak. You're probably better off with keeping the stock shifters, or at the least going to the FROR Twin Sticks if you have a J-shift t-case.

I'd also talk to @Spoonman about the TG crawl box. He has one, and doesn't like it from what I remember. I still personally recommend either Advanced Adapter's Atlas or Marlin Crawler's Taco Box, but that's just me. I know other's have had success with TG, and I won't talk much on them since I don't run them.

There's not much competition nowadays with MC focusing on their LT instead of their legendary tacobox

    Option: TG or Atlas

I didn’t see an option like that in the built units

edit: wait, what? Lol triple cased?

True. I figure once the LT finally hits the market, they'll focus again on the Tacobox.

Lmao! I doubt it would take a full year, but they definitely have had the wait time go up since they're now trying to get their RCLT ready for market.

    Stuff. Also things.
I feel like this sums up Marlin pretty well.

I’m shooting for getting my TacoBox in this fall (finally) and I figured I could start pulling together some of the supporting parts in the meantime. I mean we’re not talking about the eternally-on-back-order crawl boxes or the “it’s hitting the market next month” RCLT stuff, right?

    I guess not

I would hold off ordering the tacobox until MC can confirm you'll be getting their anadioze red unit and not the SUPER OLD inchworm adapter.

This might be a silly question, but I can keep my ADD 4x4 push button right?
