WELCOME TO MY BUILD THREAD!

I finally decided to make a thread for my own truck. Enjoy! More pics to come as I see fit.


I initially had a 2013 DCLB 4x4 Silverstreak Mika. Sold it and bought a Magnetic Grey Metallic later. Stupid story, but I just wanted a different color truck.

Anyway. Here's what I ended up getting later.






And after some mods....It's pretty much almost where I want it. Just some minor things here and there for some final touches.

Crappy picture, but the camo theme runs throughout the interior..my favorite part about my interior. Can you tell which part?

I with Toyota gave us other interior color options besides the boring grey interior.
The tan interior was rare but I wanted black. Of course we didnt get that until the 3rd gen.....

where did you find the trim kits for dash? most of them seem a little cheap that i have seen.

 

I took my interior parts to a professional hydrodip company called Immersed Fx hydrographics in California.

 

Adding an updated picture for the old build thread. I've done a lot of things since then. Added all the custom wiring harness to bring life to all of my lighting

Upgraded to Morimoto Amber headlights

truck looks great, did you have it wrapped? looks satin in more recent pics. link for headlights?

 

Yeah I got it wrapped this last summer. My paint was getting burned

My wrap was from 3M satin grey

 

The morimoto headlights can be found in a lot of places now like Amazon. They're not cheap by any means.

I recommend being patient and keeping an eye out for some rare deals that pop up on ebay. That's where I found mine
