Delete the accumulator and you'll love it. Yes the clutch grabs at the end, normal.

Granny shift every gear, let the revs fall and get back on the gas. This manual is butter smooth, run Redline MT90 most shift are not felt. GL

I was having trouble with rev matching for a few weeks when I got the truck back in 16. Went from a car that that was fly by wire instead of electronic throttle so the hesitation threw me off. Haven't done the accumulator delete since its grown on me, but we'll see after OVTunes TTs on it in the future. Matching feels great when you downshift and rpms right around 4k (that's where the truck actually starts to play).

The cranking issue is from flooding — hold the throttle to the floor while it cranks. Happens to mine all the time

Yeah sorry the whole virus thing has left our internet to be found wanting, and I haven't been on TW in a hot minute. Yes I'm stationed out here in Japan. I've got the family back in the states using the truck. My dad loves the truck but agrees that it seems hesitant in lower rpm towing and on steep hills on takeoff.
