It was funny but only slightly less credible than folks claiming to get 25mpg

its a truck..... if you wanted MPGS, should have bought a Prius, or a TESLA.... or gone with a diesel jeep/truck. they still get over 22MPG in a fullsized 2500/350 TD....

Hey, just because you can't, doesn't mean it isn't possible lol. Although, as I said, it was one flat trip. But usually I'll get 23 or 24 on that same stretch of road. I think I also had the windows and sunroof cracked and no AC running too so there's that.

Doesn't mean you can't make your money go farther (literally). Not to mention usually poor MPGs (in normal conditions) can be a sign of something going wrong with the vehicle. Especially when you're getting well below the rating under normal circumstances.

most of us are running trucks with larger tires, lifts, and heavy armour on... MPG will suck no matter what.. I get roughly 19.5 depending entirely on speed below 70mph.. sure... above 70MPH// dont count on it... more like 16MPG....

Adding all that stuff isn't exactly something I would classify as "normal circumstances."

I said "MOST OF US" and i have hit 22mpg, but that was driving very slow, on speed control with speeds under 65mph... that was with all my gear...

Yes, but I would argue that "most of us" isn't actually most people. Either way, I have hit 21.7 or so with my RTT at 70. My RTT has generally brought me down about 2 MPG and my bike rack a little more than that. I'll get about 15-16 running 80 with my full setup.

My girlfriend also weighs 150lbs (on Mars)

18.9 on Avg. ...which is cool but I bought it knowing the MPG.

The absolute biggest improvement (for me because I'm running 33's) is that the truck no longer "hunt's" for gears......highway, hills or other wise. It's now running at the correct RPM (2100) and correct gear for it to stick at and speed and even accelerate if needed, going uphill as well. No more of the shifting all the time.

Money well spent. It's actually like having a new truck IMO.

Prior to this install, I was driving around town and in any application less than 60 MPH with the truck manually shifted down into 4th gear.

At 70 MPH on the highway the truck was constantly bouncing in and out of 5th and 6th gear......add cruise control and forget it, it was just all over the place.

Instead of just pressing cruise and letting off.....press it and hold it until the green cruise light in your gauge cluster turns into the green image of the speedometer...radar is now disabled.

Personally I say if your concerned about gas mileage then dont buy a truck buy a smart car instead. I dont look at gas mileage. I fill it up when it needs it and dont even look at how much it cost per gallon

As I pointed out before, poor fuel economy (under normal circumstances) can be an indication of something going wrong. Plus, if you're commuting, you would like your money to go farther and not everyone can afford 2 vehicles when they need a pickup truck outside of going to and from work.

Again I it is a truck... mpgs fluctuate with weather, temperature & load... only indication of an issue would be getting 14mpg or less..unless you are climbing mountains daily..
