What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

tires look good I actually watchd the video yesterday

 

Loving the new tires so far.

 

Interesting... I just installed my HC rear bumper (no swing outs...) didn’t think about if I will need a drop bracket hitch... hmm.

 

I guess I'm not entirely sure.. maybe someone else who has towed with one will weigh in

 

Took the faux bead lock rings off the wheels. Muuuch better!!!

 

Diode dynamics SS3 fog lights installed.

 

Its even. I had to adjust the passenger side slightly, but it was easy. It will be better when I drill all the holes out and install w proper hardware.

 

How difficult was the install? Happy with it so far?

No worries, if you need any additional pictures I can take them. As I said before tho it fit perfectly and adds way more protection than the stock skids I had previously

11" drop hitch I got for $30 on Amazon. Looks like its out of stock right now, but its solid 5k lbs rating

 

Nice! Is that another receiver you have in the hidden spot or is that something you welded on?

 

Thanks! It's part of the whole bumper, hidden behind the flip up license plate. Also had a spot to mount the stock 7pin receptacle. Still rated for 6500lbs of towing.

Oh whoops! Yup its just like that, gives me a little extra clearance from the spare tire.

 

I took mine through an automated car wash, and there was an attendant there flagging people through. When he saw me coming, he had to wonder, "What the fuck!?" First time it's been washed in so long I'm not sure. Maybe 2+ years. The pinstriping looks less severe now that I got all the scratched through dirt off it.

 

Yeah man. But don't let that turn you off. The Velcro I had on lated for years without issue. I love having a snorkel!
