    I have searched and failed.

I measured the stock clearance on my '12 4x4 non trd model. The tightest clearance is about 15mm between the sidewall bulge and a bump high up on the top of the upright with the 245/75-16 mounted now. I want to try the Open Country in the 265/75-16 but it seems like that tire is probably going to end up within a couple of mm of that bump in the best case. Has anyone put this size tire on the stock wheel and knows what the remaining clearance is?

I know the trd comes with 265 so it would seem like it would clear but I don't know if the trd has a different offset.

    Thank you.

The 2012 brochure shows that the TRD came with a 265/70R16, not a 265/75R16.

Also, they were the BFGoodrich Rugged Trail. 30.6" diameter. Passenger/highway tire that is 4-ply.

The Toyo Open Country 265/75R16 is a 31.65" tire. Load range C or SL.

You're not even comparing the correct tire sizes you are trying to fit, therefore you'll be disappointed the first time you turn the wheels and it rubs on the frame and all the plastic.

Yeah, I know the trd came with 265/70, I factored that into the math and measurements and stuff. The 265/75 that cooper, general and toyo are selling are therefore only about a 1/2 greater in radius that the tire the trd comes with, making an actual measurement from the 245 tire to the frame there's about 1-3/4" clearance... so mathematically a 1" greater diameter tire should still clear even at full droop or squat.
Apparently you don't have an answer to the actual question but thanks so much for your response. Nice place here.

I don’t have stock rims, but with my 265/75/16’s on 0mm rims they Don’t even rub fully stuffed fully locked.

265/75-16 ATs on a Gen 2 will touch the mudflaps and even lightly rub the fender liner at the a very certain suspension and wheel turn angle. Won't do any harm, but makes an annoying sound. Turning sharp right while climbing a curb with the right front tire into a driveway is an easy way to find that combo.

I've got 265/75-16 Hankooks on my stock height SR5 4x4, on the stock alloy 7.5 wheels. The only time they rub is at full steering lock and I hit a bump. It's not much of a rub when it happens.DSC00292.jpg

Thanks to those of you with helpful information.
After mounting I find there's plenty of clearance with the 265/75-16 and have yet to hear any rubbing at full lock, which I have to do to get out of my garage.
Very pleased with the Toyo so far.
