If I remember correctly, you used a low-viscosity Dexron 6 fluid when the OE spec called for Dexron 2 or 3. :p Though it simply hastened a preexisting condition.

Fuck, $80 a liter for Toyota LF at the dealer? How many cc's of unicorn tears does it contain?

EDIT: Lamborghini Haldex oil is only $35: https://germanoem.ca/haldex-oil-1l-oem-gen-2-g055175a2.html

Saturday Preview of Annual TW Greens Run, well, I did invite everyone, but nobody showed up :pout: :notsure:

I believe I was the only IFS vehicle today in the entire party/traffic jam.

I would describe it To be similar to 401 rush hour :censored:

We had over 35 vehicles on that little trail!

Well there are the photos i wanted to see :bananadance:
i was thinking you showed up and rode shot-gun with @Therby because you didn't want to scratch up the new bed

You rhino/raptor lined the bed right sides right? how did it hold up?

Honestly, the fit was a surprise, lots of trimming on either side of the switch itself but the bottom edge almost clips in.

Originally was gonna cut the cheater dial plastic to place the 2 OEM switches (traction control and rear E-locker) till i learned that the cheater dial mobo is off center and i wont be able to cut into the plastic on both sides equally :annoyed: was irritated and ripped out the switches and shoved it all over

that last plate to the right side that holds the powered sunroof buttons was a pain in the ass :censored:, i did everything i could to remove it and not to open up the clam shell (entire overhead unit is a clamshell that s melted shut for whatever reason)

regardless, it's in its final resting place. tomorrow is to build up the harness (basically make 10ft extensions and run them into the engine bay to the switch box.

Pfff, I never skip fun trails, it's raptor coating, was rubbing against trees a lot today. Crazy flexing and few times unexpected close calls of roll over. Still alive!

I expect at least 1 more Taco next year with me, somebody should be crazy enough to join :boink:

Also both my tail lights brackets, where 10mm bolts screw in are broken from all the hitch rage and vibration, plastic cracked there :benchpress:
Nothing holds them now :bananadead: #theydontmakethemliketheyusedto

    :hattip:

You lucky SOB that looks like a blast...

    Most excitement I got was....

Trying to stuff a 66" wide bobcat through a 66 1/4" opening... many many times while I moved 6 yards of bedding gravel...

    IMG-0952_efe68ae22f6d7f32089de66cd0b47e282a9e3184.jpg

Those buckets on the back left are there to protect my gas meter.... :help:

    IMG-0954_5b6a84f0d36db15559e01d1dbd1d5961341ea5af.jpg

Did I say 66 1/4" opening... ooops well it was 66 3/4" by the end of the day! :anonymous:

(glad I took the trim off first, hopefully it will cover most of that)

    IMG-0953_b6c16384d409b8d0ea4fd9cb193d453c0eaaa439.jpg

Lol I am AMAZED I still have a garage! And a Gas meter... lol that was

    What a fubar couple days...

    Plan was
    Friday off
Small Bobcat to arrive friday morning, they will call before they arrive..
    Finish digging out patio,
Gravel delivery to call 1 hour before they arrive,
6 yards to arrive in the afternoon.

But actual turn of events was,

Called out to an emergency call out in Oakville first thing in the morning,
Not a f'n emergency, it's a rich dude with a petty issue in his new fancy mansion and his electrician can't figure it out.... grrrr
And they are not even ready for me to do my work as the other electrician hasn't finished his so I have to tell him what needs to be done...
Only consolation I have for this petty annoyance is my bill for an "emergency" is $500 to arrive on site and $250 an hour (4 hour min).
Still grumbling to myself as I deal with the traffic to get back home before the Bobcat arrives....
As I pull in the driveway...

Can't pull all the way in as there is a big fooking pile of gravel right smack dab in the middle of it...
Not only is it 30' down the driveway from where I wanted it, (a white cement driveway that I wanted to minimize the bobcat tracks on)
    It blocks the whole driveway,
so to bring the Bobcat in (that is now late)
I either have to drive it over my neighbours lawn and garden, or drive it over my porch,
or dig it out enough so I can drive over it with the bobcat....

So a few hours later the bobcat arrives...
Sigh, a nice fat one, with wheels and not tracks (hope it don't rain)...
other machine had a mech issue and the other ones where already out...

So as I'm driging my way through the gravel trying to minimize black marks on the driveway and not tip over the machine,
The wife comes home from work, looks right at me and the machine taking up almost the whole driveway...
and pulls her car right in the driveway and stops ...
    right in behind the machine...
The machine that is currently at on odd angle on a pile of gravel ...
I'm trying to wave at her frantically to get the f- out of there,
    Stupid look...
    Machine tipping...
Juggling controls to stabalize, trying to look around at her and yell at her to get the car out of there,
"well what do you want me to do?"
Grr "get the car out of there can't you see what I'm doing...Park it someplace else"
"well where should I park?" Stupid look....
    :bananadead:
I thought my head was going to explode trying so hard not to swear and go into full Sgt mode...

Back in early March I did a trip up to Attawapiskat on the winter roads. When I got back I thought it might make a neat story. So I scribbled down a few pages and sent it into 4WDrive magazine. They published the story in the current, August issue.
