Just finished installing my Yakima tracks and ROLA cargo basket. Super stoked about how it came out! Pic is in my hometown of Chester, Massachusetts.

Well...The Tacoma was not in these pictures but they are definitely scenic. Not many places where you can cruise 75 acres of shoreline with a fourteener as your backdrop.
Then as an added bonus local balloonists came in for a look see.

That's a beautiful drive up through the Alabama Hills. Lot's of ecosystems in just a few miles.

Yes. For an east coast guy who hasn’t been west of the Mississippi (one time for a weekend) it s nice to see what I’m missing.

It’s the opposite for me. West Coast born and raised. Dallas, Texas is as far East as I’ve traveled. From what I’ve seen it may be time to change that...

That’s beautiful country. We cover the lower half of the Uintas as we travel through Spanish Forks to Price on our way from Seattle to Grand Junction. And right through the heart of it on our way from Park City to Vernal where we go prairie dog hunting. Hopefully we can take some time next year to explore the area further.

This is an amazing and beautiful country. I've visited 46 states, with only Michigan, North Dakota, Montana and Alaska left. I'll do another cross country drive up through the UP, then armed with a fly rod, I'll cross ND enroute to Glacier, before returning via a different route back.

There are so many neat towns out there to visit like Rapid City, SD and Fort Collins, CO. The Rockies and Appalachians are both beautiful, but significantly different in appearance. The Pacific has bigger waves, but much colder water than the Atlantic.

Guess the moral of the story is to get out and enjoy America!

Awesome. We were there last year, and hopefully headed back to CO in a month or so to finish our exploration. Red Cone and Radical were great. How's the trail up Red Cone now? There was one reasonably difficult gatekeeper as I recall.

Is this coming up from the Owens Valley side?

Not so difficult anymore. I was still looking for the gatekeeper boulder before realizing I had passed it 5 minutes earlier.
