Hello I’m new here....

I just bought a ‘12 SR5 4x4 because I was in need of a small pickup for helping with around the house and my hobbies.



So far so good. Has just a hair over 100k on it and was a one owner truck. The service manual had Stamps from Toyota all the way up to 95k miles, it’s been babied for its entire life so I felt ok buying it. The interior is pretty clean, at least 8.5/10. I do need to take care of the failed clear vinyl on the fender flares. I’ll take them to a friends shop and get repainted.

my plans are to get some form of off road tires, probably 3rd gen take offs for now and learn about self recovery so we can go explore the Ocala national Forest and other public land (which would have to be outside of FL). No need for wild modifications. I want to keep it reliable on and off road. I promise to not put any TacomaBeast decals on it.

I have a unifilter on the way and a headlight polishing kit. I need to check the classifieds for a tail light since once is cracked. I plan on selling the Canvas top and getting or finding a mid height shell. I really wanted a 6’ bed but those are hard to find and not pay out the nose.

also plan on updating the radio to a double din with CarPlay.
