    Ruffstuff Toyota axle

Pretty much everything you can do to one.

    Ruffstuff axle housing passenger drop

5.29 high pinion 3rd with Yukon zip locker

Rcv axle shafts and hub gears

Sky’s off-road billet steering arms with 5th stud

Trail gear 4 in hd springs

1.5 1/4 wall steering with fj80 tie rod ends

Psc steering ram limited to Toyota steering

    Knuckle gussets

Fror brake mounting with tundra 231 brakes

    Wms-68 in

Spring perches are set for full width at 31.5 inches but could easily be changed by moving driver side perch.

    coated in steel it black

I have a bunch of spares as well. Birfrields, knuckle rebuilds etc.

Comparable axle would be tg rock assault housing at 6600 dollars.

Asking 5k or best offer and open to all offers. Shipping available if you set up shipping.

Solid axle, literally! Goodluck with selling it.

What are you doing for a new front, 609 would be a nice solid replacement setup with a Hi9.

609 is coming if this sells. Probably not a hi9 but maybe haha. Just need to decide what I’m going to do for knuckles/steering and start ordering stuff

I’d be willing to part out as long as big pieces sell (3rd, housing, shafts)

Dont know why anyone will pay 6600 for an assembled TG axle... My diamond axle built with 95% new parts, 68wms with Hell Fire knuckles, LC 9.5 centered, yukon 5.29 w/ tjm prolocker, rcv, LC locking hubs bla bla bla cost less than TG. It is also better looking and will be way stronger.

Mmm not sure I believe that haha. I know what I have in mine and its probably pretty close to that if not more once you count in the cost of a donor axle for knuckles and knuckles balls. Rebuilds. Etc. and he’ll fire ain’t cheap and diamond is more expensive than ruffstuff lol

    Summary of what I paid:
-Diamond housing w/ knuckle ball gusset & weld on customer ball & big fill $1225
-RCV custom length LC 30/30 upgrade $1100
    -Hellfire $1050
    -RS heim hi steer $235
-Complete 96 FJ80 front axle $450 (got knuckle ball, brakes, nuts and bolt, hub, spindle, etc)
    ‐TJM prolocker $900
    -Yukon 5.29 w/ master bearing kit $600
    -Aisin FJ80 locking hub $250
-MC koyo wheel bearing x2 $100
-MC FJ80 service gasket set $60
    =$5970

What else am I missing?? Thats pretty much sum the cost and is still less. Built with better and stronger parts.

My rear Diamond FF cost about ~$5k to built myself w/ FJ80 9.5 centered, yukon 5.29, master bearing kit, tjm prolocker, ifs hub, MC koyo bearing etc

If you built an 8" with mini outers and cost about 7k, somethings definitely wrong.

A bare rockjock60 cost about 7k when I inquire about it last year. Why even buy a tg for 6600 when you can buy an extremely strong RJ60 for the same price

when I did the ruffstuff axle, I already had all the parts from a stock housing I already built to reuse so it cost me the housing and inner shafts. I don’t have all the receipts anymore but after redoing the numbers figured I’m pretty close to what you paid.

just using the tg axle as a reference. Didn’t mean to hurt any feelings haha

knowing what I know now and how parts have evolved and Hobby in general, I would have never built a Toyota axle. But 5-6 years ago, that was normal and 37s where big. I never thought I’d go to 39s lol. Rock jocks were things you only saw on company builds and magazine builds. Now theyre on every jk out there along sith dynatrac and whatever the other crate axles are.

and do I need to upgrade? No. Only reason is I’m after more steering and I’ll be honest, I’m bored and want to build something. Selling this would motivate me to 3link the front lol

Nah. The message was intended for those considering an assembled TG axle. You can built a better and strong axle for less. It doed take time to research and do the assembly yourself, but it pays off. Plus, you will know what parts go into the axle and how to work on it later if issue do occur.
