Howdy all, 2016 super white DCSB here. I'm doing black accents and looking to eother paint my handles flat/matte black or replace them with black textured handles. My handles have the touch to lock and the unlock sensor. Has anyone had experience painting their handles and, if so, do the sensors still work? If not, can they be easily/successfully swapped with a black pair without having to reprogram any key related stuff?

I have a 2018 limited in cement. Hated the chrome on the door handles (and elsewhere). Covered the handles with matte black vinyl wrap. No issues at all with the smart entry system.
