Need help with tires please.

    My name is Ryan i am new to tacoma world. I am i need of some help/Info.
    I am getting ready to purchase Rims and Tires for a 98 Tacoma. I am going to get cragar soft 8's. I would like to know what rim size and tire size i should get that will look mean and still fit stock lift. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You'll want something with 4"-4.5" backspacing, and you can run 32's (265's) with no rubbing on stock suspension. The smaller the backspacing, the more they will stick out.

    ok thanks buddy. so what is the exact tire size i should get? and what size rim? Maybe some pics also if possible.

    how about 32/11.50 or 33/12.50 wich one will work best? with stock lift.

    32 x 10.5 is the biggest on stock suspension I believe (I have an 09, but from what I've read the max tire size you can fit is about the same between gens, might want to double check that with someone who has a 1st gen)

    If you want 16" rims, most are 8" wide. You would want 0 offset to get the 4.5" backspacing on an 8" wide rim.
