Order #133 - 15 month wait so far. Communication has been frustrating to say the least, but I finally made peace with it. I think a customer service person would help alot as I've read numerous people getting upset because of lack of communication. The reason I went with VO is because there build quality is top notch and I love the super functional design. In my opinion they make the best wedge campers on the market!

These three hinges across the front are completely different from the side and rear-door GFC "live-hinges" made of plastic with a notch in the middle to allow it to fold.

No. No issues with the metal hinges that Vagabond uses.

For sure, I've looked through there! It's great. I'm limited to using the engine bay as the bed has to stay useable. So, that's the approach I have to go with. I am, however, looking at adding a removable set up that's easy to load in/out. Electronics just can't be a part of that for speed/weight, etc.

If that's the case, I'd consider an AGM battery instead of LiFePo.

That's possible with the electrical system too! Several of us have built boxes that contain all or most of the electrical components. My electrical box has the battery, controller, circuit breakers, and USB charger all in one place. Comes out with three bolts and five Anderson connectors - very quick. Just another way to skin the cat...

I'm 157. Bought the build from the original buyer. He told me he had ordered it "late July 2019, on the 27th I think." This is for the list.

Gee I can’t believe it’s been more than a year...time flies when I don’t obsess over the timeline.

So I figured you have seen the back seat options for LiFePO4 house batteries. Here is what I came up with. Like you I need to keep the bed open for truck stuff.

Nice! looks awesome. I have seen them, kudos on undertaking that.

I canceled the order for the LiFePO4... truth is, I don't really need it. I just liked the idea of having more charge/less worry; sounds like the heat will just cause more worry. The battery I ordered was rate at 160 deg F, but most reading I did said no more than 130. Not worth it. Not gonna complain about saving a few hundred. Anyways, I can take this all to the buildout thread :D

This isn't top-down, but it does show the top of the camper, if that's what you're wanting.

Top down view would be great. Both raised position and stowed position would be a bonus.

I'm looking to visualize the OVS 270 awning and their shower tent in open and closed positions. Placement and light spread for exterior lights and roof rack with some sort of wind deflector.
