Josh and I goto a great little range but it’d be a helluva drive for you it’s in Gatesville.
You could park at my house and ride with me save you some gas.

I recall seeing somewhere on the Southside of SA expanding on of their ranges.

    A Place To Shoot perhaps.
Edit: Expanding to 300yd. Longer than some, shorter than you want.

Would be nice. All the ranges last I heard we're closing down for one reason or another which is why I stopped hitting the long range

I love both the LaRue and Geiselle triggers. Been buying more of the LaRue - they're an incredible value IMO.

Agreed, I grabbed a used Geiselle SD3G For 125 bucks and It’s great but don’t know if I could spend full price on one when comparing it to one of my larue MBT2’s

Loaded up some mags while wfh since I forgot to do it after the range. Then fell into a shotgun mod rabbit hole and ordered a few things for my maverick 88. I'll post those up when I get em.

Bought a scope a while back from a buddy who shipped it USPS. They lost it.

After that, I bought an MBT2S from a guy on GAFS, who shipped it USPS, they lost that too.

They've found the MBT2S and it should arrive today. In the time the scope has been (AND STILL IS) lost, they lost and found another of my packages. A warning for everybody out there: ship UPS or FEDEX if possible, USPS is having a rough spell by my experiences.

A few years back, when DHS first started their big ammo purchase, ammo was hard to come by. At the time, I was only able to buy it in small bunches of 200-300 rounds at a time. I had several packages disappear in the FEDEX pipeline. Turned out, there was a local ring, stealing it as it came into the local distribution station for the Knoxville area. They would scan it as "on the truck for delivery", and then walk it out through security, since it was in a relatively small box. I helped their investigator setup a sting and caught the bastards responsible. My rule is to always ship insured. At least you get your money back.

All carriers are equally shitty. We had a FedEx freight driver push a half dozen $80k blood processors out of the back of the truck into the parking lot because he didn't have a lift gate (even though the manifest showed "lift gate required").

.....I'll bet you he didn't do that more than once, and if he worked for me, I would have tagged his driving record, so no one else would have hired him to drive a commercial vehicle again (I'm sort of vindictive in cases like this).

My mom had her hour of one on one training tonight so I went to the range after work (literally right down the road) and got to meet the instructor.
I ended up staying for about 2 hours talking to the guy at the counter about everything guns and gun related, he’s going to see what we can do to get some small training groups at the range, seems to be a good contact and acquaintance.

I'm having issues with USPS also. I had two packages shipped on the same day from the same seller. I received box one, but not the second one. When you go to their tracking system, the box I received shows "No Information available". The Second box shows it's sitting in the Greensboro distribution center. It'g been there since 8/10/20. I have no idea when it will arrive.

    Same crap everyone else got
USPS is trash.... There is a house in my neighborhood with the same 4 digit house number as mine but a completely different street. Sure as shit, any time i'm expecting a package that is shipped USPS, I know it will end up that their house 80% of the time. Same with their packages and my house. Once my package ended up at their neighbors house. This happens so often, that we have each others numbers and we just text each other telling one another we have their package and its in the mail box if they want to swing by. We are at the point that if I see its delivered and not in my box, I will just go by his house and grab it from his mail box, and he does the same.

We filed a complaint with the post office and they gave us cards to put in the mail box with the street number and name so the worker would see it doesn't match the address on the package. One would think based on the address on the other mail not matching its not the right freaking house.

I worked in lending for a while and had many postal worker come in to apply for loans and guess what, they get paid pretty well....So basically I'm dealing with over paid mail workers who either can't read, or are just that lazy...

    sorry, rant off.
