I would like to upgrade to long tube headers while I’m in there since I have a failing cat

I'm probably wrong but from how I'm looking at it, you're gonna need the 2012+ manifolds, or headers for a 2012+ and run a block off plate on the top pipe. Also your passenger side valve cover to eliminate the SAI pumps as someone previously said earlier.

Here's how the SAI equipped1gr-fe manifolds look. The SAI tube at the top, and the pear shaped exhaust ports.

And here's how non SAI 1gr-fe exhaust looks. Round exhaust ports.

just gonna block The holes on these.. way easier and cheaper than Toyota brand headers and will add some power in the processs..
Will turn this into a more informational thread for those with a 05-11 engine going to a 12-15 engine when I get it in and working 100%

Check out the URD equal length too, they're the header of choice for those of us over in the supercharged thread.

I looked up a video of those on a 4Runner, do they really change the sound that much? The 4Runner almost sounded like a 350z

Thats going to depend on the rest of your exhaust. From a power standpoint they have proven to be the best.

Do you have a link I can’t find where any that specifically say they are “equal length”

You'll be removing the air pump so you don't need to worry about that. Your ECU doesn't even realize it is/was even there.

Yeah I’m just asking to see if the headers cover the holes on the engine block That are for the air pump because it seems some other headers on the market have extra parts to be compatible with that pump. I just don’t want to buy these and have them not cover those holes on the block

Nvm I found it. “Not compatible with 12-15 engines”
