Has anyone taken their Taco out through Pacific Beach State Park? I wanted to take mine out on the beach like through Long Beach, but we also wanted to camp close by. This seemed like the best of both options. Any experience or recommendations? Thanks!

I don't think you can drive to the beach directly from the state park, but there are beach approaches both north and south of there where you could drive to beach in front of the state park. The sand tends to be wetter and easier to drive on than what I've seen at Long Beach. The entire stretch from Copalis Beach to the north Jetty is drivable. I've never personally camped at Pacific Beach State Park, doesn't seem to be any privacy between campsites - I usually go to Ocean City (more things to do at Ocean Shores) or Kalaloch (can't drive on the beach) so can't comment.

Awesome good to know as well. I’ll look into ocean shores as well. Greatly appreciate it!

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
I've never camped at the state park per-say, but I've spent quality time at Pacific Beach. The state park is fairly nice and has easy access to the beach. @hr206 is right though in the fact that there's not much privacy between campsites. You have around 3 miles of beach to drive between Joe Creek by the State Park and Moclips River by Moclips. I've seen a few vehicles cross Joe Creek, but I've always been leery. The sand is fairly soft and the water is anywhere from mid-calf to mid-thigh deep.

Yeah I’m a little Leary about water crossings still. Baby stepping it for sure haha. Thanks for the extra info. I’ll definitely check them out. Looking to spend Fri-Sunday out that way.
