Yeah, it's high 90's right now. I understand the need in winter but not summer and not for a look. I guess it's the same as yoga pants all day every day. Though on the right body the ladies can wear them year round and you won't hear me complain.

She’s growing roots in the driveway on the side of my shop. Hasn’t been fired up since I rolled her off the trailer from Utah.

So I'm not sure when it was manufactured, the s/n is useless. That's cool Harbour Freight came out with an updated version. Mine is the Chicago Electric 7A version. Here's the only noticeable damage from at least 3 years of moderate abuse20200820_072159.jpg

If I don't decide to change my mind again. I am collecting parts for it in the mean time.

Want to make it nice and do everything right so it's decently street able again despite being more built

Yeah. That would really be the only option if I want to use the geared/locked Kingpin 60 sitting in my buddy's yard.

    Yea.
Perch width of 36" means it won't fit without doing something really ugly and outboarding the springs on my frame or shortening the passenger axle side 4" ish

    That’s what I thought. That KP60 is a beast!

I’ve been reading up on swapping over the last few months since that’s where I want to be eventually. I plan to beat on the IFS for as long as I can, though.

I have no issues braking with the regular Tacoma brakes and my heavy 33s. Sure there's a difference from when I had lighter tires (lighter truck in general) but you adapt to it.

If I thought it felt dangerous and the Tundra upgrade was touted as a huge improvement then I would do it, but from what I've heard some people say they don't really notice much difference. And I don't really feel like the Tacoma brakes are inadequate.

That's the same one I have, got it about a year ago for like $50 bucks with a discount lol. It works great for everything I use it on but it doesn't get used that often.

The Bauer one is a separate brand that HF sells, Bauer and Hercules. I have a few Hercules power tools and they work well.
