If it's not too late....I would recommend trimming your fender liner as little as possible. Heat & mold it away from rub spots. What you've done looks like minimal trimming compared to some.

Fender liners are one of the few defenses from water getting in the intake.

Yeah it's pretty bad. I'm folding back both pinch welds too, the bottom horizontal one and the vertical one. It's a bitch to swing a sledge in here. I thi k I've made some good progress

I'm a little worried about this huge hole and getting water up there

I may have gotten too head over heals with the Dremel lol. Might be looking at a new liner and a second go around!

Pulled my liners completely. I might try to fit them back in, maybe not. Their only benefit at this point on my truck, it stopping water/debris coming into the door hinge area.
This is very highly likely my answer/solution!

That's not too bad. I've seen much worse. Probably will get some water coming in the pinch weld. Your intake should be fine. If you cut more I'd begin to cringe if I saw you enter a mud hole at WOT.

Just make sure you fill the hole behind this little black knob thing. That's the important one.

Is there some sort of super thick black smear coating I can line the wheel well with? Something that can fill in some of the 1/2" hole?

I frequently do deep water and sometimes deep mud

Which holes are you talking about?

The red is the area below you may have an issue with. Also the pinch weld commonly separates, or cracks from the body on the back side. You can spread 3M seam sealer all over it and that will fix the issue. The green circle is nothing to be concerned about, that's only an attachment point for your fender liner.

    Here's a link to a good seam sealer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000Y89JC8/

I'm more talking about that foam block in my door. I should either replace my wheel well plastic bit to cover that, or I was thinking I could use some super thick coating to seal it up.

Either way, I already have a fucked up fender and door I need to replace lol

    Huh?
4 cylinder, so intake inside the fender is different. I do have holes in the bottom of the air box, drainage for water, undecided to seal them up.

Oh. That must be a 3rd gen thing. Looks like it's maybe just for sound deadening. I think it would be fine but I don't know.

Had to get a rubber 4" to 3" adapter for the snorkel to air box junction. Inside the fender I'll lose about 3lbs of plastic, you'll see what I mean...

Correct, looks exactly like what @JohnnyRed posted in there. 2nd gen v6 are same.
Idk what the 3rd 4 banger has. Mine has a horn pointed upward, but between it and the air box, is some big ass plastic cavity. Something like a collector/velocity/turbulence thing. I'm sure it's emissions related, don't need that noise!

Just talking about modding trucks. You should try it and stop driving that stock heap.
