    Hey All,

I was changing the oil today and noticed the level is pretty low, and it looks like its overflowing out the pipe, is this a common issue?

Yeah fairly common, at least in my experience. I've had to top mine off once, but since then it's been fine

On a side note, does it have a lifespan?
Wondering if I should change it after 3 years.

Normal on Toyota’s. When the engine gets hot, thermostat opens up and coolant goes into the engine and when there’s too much coolant in the radiator then it goes back into the bottle.

    Yikes!
Coming from the olde-tyme days of 3000mi oil changes, all of these extended life durations are hard for me to trust!

I’m strongly considering changing/flush/exchange the transmission fluid around 50-60k.
The thing is constantly working overtime.

On the trans I'm already 2 drain and fills in. 52k. If there's a transmission Weakness in any Vehicle, I'll find it. My Silverado had like at least 3 trans and my accord had at least 2. Imma stay on top of the trans on this truck haha

    Damn that’s unlucky!

My 93 pathfinder mt went to about 200ish before it started failing.

The only autos I’ve had in the past 30 yrs have been company ram 1500s, a 2012 had 206k zero issues.
They replaced it with a lower mileage 2011 that shit the bed at 94k the day I picked it up.
I would have bought that 2012, it was a great truck but then I guess I wouldn’t own the taco now!
