My truck is making a squeak every time I start from stationary in first gear, until I shift into second.

It appears to originate from in front of the cab
The frequency is proportional to my speed. (The faster I’m moving, the greater the frequency).
The clutch was replaced less than 5k ago.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, please use small words as I am new to truck troubleshooting.

    Thanks in advance.

    2nd gen, 6MT, V6, 4x4, 91k.

Sounds like a drive shaft universal joint.

Do you have grease fittings on them?
Have you greased them on a regular basis?

Grease them to see if it changes. If so you need to replace all three.

Is it only when slipping, does it happen once fully engaged in 1st?

A screeching 1st gear can mean a bad pilot bearing. As all other gears typically don't slip.

Squeaking stops once 1st is fully engaged

I bought it a few months back so I don’t know whether the fittings have been regularly greased. I will check them out.

thank you to the both of you.

Well this sounds like the throw out bearing or pilot bushing in the clutch assembly.
